Riley's Evolution

I'unno, at first this was just to show how much Riley's hair had GROWN since his creation, but then I realized when looking back at old pictures just HOW MUCH he had changed.
Like. A lot, you guys.

Dear God, if you see the first picture I made of him.. SHORT FUCKING HAIR.
I remember whenever I drew him in 2010 ( or 2009, I honestly don't remember when I started drawing him ), I always forgot about his hair design. It never really mattered to me, so I always drew his hair by random. Then it suddenly just stuck with me that he grew out his hair and liked it reaching his shoulders.

That and I designed him differently. I already said how he was supposed to be like before, but for the sake of this picture, I'll say it again.

He was SUPPOSED to be gay, or atleast in denial of it. Riley wasn't supposed to be OVER protective of Dani, but that trait just grew on me. And, he was originally going to be either the same age as Dani or younger, but I didn't like that idea and thought him being older would be. Funnier. And he was just more of a comedy relief character.

But then, after I designed Matthew, Riley's cousin, he just went all pessimistic. I made a history between the two about how Matthew just disappeared from their family without leaving any connection, and that just pissed off Riley. Then something happened between the two during those years of Matthew being gone, so Riley just hated him more.
So, Riley just became a lot more negative after I got Matthew in the picture.

And then, for SOME reason, I just liked abusing that negative side of him. I just liked drawing pictures of him being pissed about something or roleplaying as him being uncomfortable and "eurrghh", this and that.

That, and when he was nineteen, HE HAD NO THOUGHT OF SEX.
NOPE, IT NEVER MATTERED TO HIM. He didn't care for it, and even when Crystal came along, he just adored her and cared for her and didn't think twice about going to second base.
And just when he turned twenty, I started teasing about the fact of how he was an adult and still a virgin. Plus everyone, including me, just really started going with the "oh lol his girlfriend is sixteen, pedo". I will ALWAYS love that joke. XD But then those two things really got into his character and made him want to just DO IT with Crystal, but he still hasn't.
I think it's because he just didn't want to come off as a sex crazy maniac or even abuse Crystal, because she really is an innocent little girl. Though. Is she ? So many moments with that girl really make him unsure.

And here he is now.
A sarcastic cannibal with some insecurity problems, forever in denial about even saying a guy looks cute, and his self esteem is constantly beaten down from the words thrown at him like 'pedo', 'virgin', 'faggot', and whatever.

And now I have realized how much I love abusing my characters.
